I believe that creating a better world starts with creating communities where people feel supported, understood, and empowered to discover their own strengths and sense of purpose. As a social worker and counsellor, I strive to create a space where you can show up as your whole self, without judgment, and explore what meaningful change looks like for you.
I have worked in social work for six years, including four years providing mental health support. I am excited to bring this experience into my counselling practice, working alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
My practice supports people navigating grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, suicidality, trauma, abuse, complex mental health concerns, and sexuality and gender-related experiences. I am particularly passionate about supporting children, teenagers, and young adults as they find their voices, develop self-understanding, and build a stronger connection with themselves.
My counselling style is casual, gentle, open, and sometimes humorous. I aim to make therapy feel approachable rather than intimidating, while still providing thoughtful, professional support. I am committed to creating a neurodivergent-friendly and affirming space for 2SLGBTQIA+ clients and families.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches, adapting our work to your needs rather than expecting you to fit into a particular therapeutic model.
In sessions, you can expect straightforward communication, practical skill-building, and collaborative support. My goal is for you to leave with tools, strategies, or new perspectives that feel relevant to what is happening in your life.
You get to decide what you want from counselling and what meaningful change looks like for you. My role is to walk alongside you, offer support and tools, and help you explore the possibilities at your own pace.
